Bree-Anna & Kyle were never going to let Covid get the better of their wedding plans, accepting the uncontrollable situation they were in and taking it head on!

And oh what a beautiful day it was! Such a hilarious bunch of family and friends, perfect weather conditions, and a collection of speeches to remember. Thank you for allowing me to capture the day as I saw it, and for granting me with a full creative license. From a shooters perspective, you two gave me such stunning and carefree moments to work with. It’s a cliché, but they really did make my job simple; the love they share for one another is so apparent, and it’s couples like these two who inspire me to create such emotive films.

I spent the first few days of the edit building a storyline purely based around the dialogue, getting it to a point where I could simply sit back and listen to the recording and understand a story without the need for visuals (almost as if it were a podcast). I could have exported it from there and been satisfied, but that’s only half of the job! I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, so I let that sink in for a few days before jumping onto the visuals.

From our initial catch up for coffee I could tell how excited these two were to have me on board to put a film together for their special day. We had the opportunity to learn a little more about each other, discussing a number of creative concepts and tips I had which they noticeably took on board. I strongly believe that catching up in advance makes all the difference to how we all approach the day - even Kyle let loose and showed off his dance moves for the camera!
