Jess and Rishi

Jess & Rishi

Allview Escape, Blackheath

These two were absolutely head over heels in love, continually reminding each other of their excitement to finally get married. A planned first look gave them enough time to soak in the reality of the day, before walking each other down the aisle in front of their loving family & friends.

With just 20 guests invited, the wedding of Jess & Rishi was always going to be an intimate and beautiful day. By eliminating a bridal party, it meant that these two were able to spend the entire day in the presence of their guests, 20 of their closest family and friends, to be exact.

Hidden within the blue mountains, we watched on as smoke filled the valley, and water helicopters flew above. An afternoon of lawn games, champaign and finger food - oh, and an absolutely stunning photoshoot.

I must admit I was a little confused when Jess first explained their plans on having a dinner for the formalities of their wedding, rather than a typical reception, but what a beautiful idea it was. I myself felt like a guest, and was honoured to have been invited on their special day.

“Marcus’s approach to filming allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in each other and our day. We wanted our small wedding to be full of genuine moments of laughter, love and happiness, and for the day to be captured in a similar genuine way. Marcus was able to capture and create something really special for us, artistically incorporating elements of our day into a single feature film of stunning quality. Each time we watch our film, we discover new little details he snuck in. He saw things differently to our photographer, and was able to capture a unique perspective of the day. We were really lucky to have Marcus as our videographer and cannot recommend him enough for any occasion you have in mind.”
